Actor-couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will wed on October 16

The date is set, and it’s lucky, say astrologers. Actor-couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will wed on October 16 this year, confirmed Khan’s mother, actor Sharmila Tagore, adding that it will be a quiet affair at the Pataudi ancestral home in Haryana, followed by a reception in Mumbai.

“The chosen date is a great one. Saif and Kareena will have a good marriage and they will be considered Bollywood’s most powerful couple (after the wedding). Their careers will get better — Kareena’s would be brilliant,” says astrologer Ajay Chandra.

Astrologer Vikram Mehta predicts, “The date is just right for the couple. Kareena is presently under Jupiter mahadasha and Saif is also under Jupiter mahadasha, so their marriage will be  unique.”
